The Distinguish Senator wish to express his deepest sympathy with the flood victims which unfortunately took place at Panyam in Mangu LGA.
The Distinguished Senator in his words, "I received with shock the sad news of the unfortunate flood incident as a result of the heavy downpour which destroyed crops and farmlands in your community".
The flood disaster affected over 130 farmers in the communities of Kwangkong, Changal, Kombili, Larkas, Washina and Ajing in Panyam Ward/District of Mangu LGA.
Furthermore, The Distinguished Senator said "no quantum of words expressed can reverse the damages done". But prayed the almighty God to encourage them in this their trying moment. He promised the victims of the inferno of his support to cushion the effect of their losses. This he said shall be channelled to them through relevant stakeholders.
In addition, he urged the people living in flood prone areas or water ways to heed to disaster management and flood projection warnings by quickly relocating to alternative places of abode and growing of crops to avoid a reoccurrence. He reiterated that their lives are so precious to him (the Senator).
The Distinguish Senator once more pleaded with them to accept his heartfelt sympathy over the unfortunate incident.
